How Manohar Pipe handles your information when you use our mobile app, website, or do business with us.

Manohar Pipe deals in water tanks, PVC / CPVC pipes, fittings, and plumbing products. We operate a website and a mobile application for retailers and dealers to browse products, place orders, and manage business records.
Our office is at Manohar Pipe, Jamnagar.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using our website or mobile app, you agree to this policy. For business rules, please also read our Terms & Conditions.
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to:
- Retailers and dealers who register and place orders through the mobile app
- Admin and authorised staff who use the app
- Visitors who use our website or contact form
Our mobile app is meant for business users (retailers / dealers / partners) in India. It is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
2. Information we collect
Details you give us
- Account and profile: first name, last name, email, mobile number, password (saved in encrypted form - never as plain text), GST number (optional), shop / business address, city, state, and country
- Photos: profile photo and shop photo, if you upload them
- Orders: products ordered, quantity, price, discount, order status, remarks, challan details, and invoice details
- Payment choice: when you place an order you may select Cash or Bank / Online. This only records how you plan to pay. We do not collect card numbers, UPI PIN, CVV, or net-banking passwords in the app. There is no payment gateway inside the app
- Contact form: name, email, phone, subject, and message when you write to us through the contact page
- Staff / customers you add: if you add employees or customers in the app, we store the name, email, phone, and address details you enter
Details collected automatically
- Push notification token (FCM token) so we can send order and account alerts
- Login token for secure access to the app
- Basic technical logs needed to keep the system secure (for example request time and error logs)
- On the website: browser type, pages viewed, and general device information
We do not track your GPS or live location. Address details are only what you type yourself.
Details from others
For delivery, we may receive status updates from the transporter. We do not buy personal data from marketing companies.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account and keep login secure
- Process orders and prepare challans and GST invoices
- Record whether you chose Cash or Bank / Online, and allow our admin team to manually confirm if payment has reached our bank account
- Send emails (for example OTP for password reset) and push / in-app notifications about orders, payment status, and account status
- Show live order status updates where available
- Reply to your calls, WhatsApp messages, or contact form inquiries
- Share product rates, stock status, and delivery updates
- Improve and protect our website and app
- Keep records as required under GST and other business laws
- Inform you about offers or important updates when relevant
We do not sell your phone number or email to outside marketing companies.
4. Payments and money-related data
Please note these points carefully (also useful for Google Play review):
- In the app you only select Cash or Bank / Online to tell us how you will pay
- There is no payment gateway in the app (no Razorpay, Paytm, Stripe, or similar)
- If you choose Bank / Online, you pay outside the app by bank transfer, UPI, NEFT, RTGS, or cheque directly into Manohar Pipe's business bank account
- Our admin team checks the bank account and then updates payment status in the system (pending, in process, paid, or failed)
- We do not store your bank password, UPI PIN, banking OTP, or card details
- Bank details printed on our invoice are our company receiving account, not your personal bank details
5. Push notifications
- With your device permission, we may send push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging about orders, payment status, and account updates
- We may use Pusher for live order status in the app
- You can turn off push notifications in your phone settings. Logging out also clears the notification token from our side for that session
6. Cookies and website tools
Our website may use cookies to keep you logged in and to run the site properly. You can turn cookies off in your browser, but some features may stop working.
Website registration may use Google reCAPTCHA to reduce fake sign-ups. Our contact page may show a Google Map. Google has its own privacy policy for map data.
Social media links (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) take you to those platforms, which follow their own privacy rules.
7. When we share information
We share information only when needed:
- Our team: authorised staff who handle orders, payment confirmation, challans, and invoices
- Transporter: name, phone, and delivery address so goods reach the correct place
- Service providers: hosting, email sending, Firebase (push notifications), and Pusher (live updates) - only to run our systems
- Legal authorities: if required by law or court order
We do not sell personal data for marketing.
8. How long we keep information
- Account details: while your account is active, and as needed for business records after that
- Orders, challans, invoices, and payment history: kept as required for GST, tax, and legal records, even if you later delete your account
- OTP codes: temporary and removed after use or expiry
- Contact form messages: until the inquiry is closed or follow-up is complete
9. Account deletion and your rights
You can delete your account from the mobile app using Delete Account (password confirmation required), or by emailing us.
What happens after deletion:
- Your account is deactivated and you cannot log in
- Push notification tokens and active login sessions are cleared
What we may still keep:
- Order, challan, invoice, and related tax records, as required under Indian law
- Backup copies may take some time to clear fully
You can update your profile details in the app, or ask us to correct them. If you do not want promotional messages, tell us through the contact page or your registered email.
10. Security
We use reasonable security steps such as encrypted passwords, secure login tokens, and limited admin access. No system is 100% risk-free, so please keep your password private and do not share it.
11. Third-party services
Some tools we use (such as Firebase, Pusher, or email providers) may process data on servers outside India. We use them only to operate the app and website.
12. Children
Our website and app are for business use. If you think a child has shared personal details with us, please contact us and we will take the needed steps.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our process or app changes. The latest version will always be shown on this page, with the updated date at the top. Continued use of our website or app means you accept the updated policy.
